In Loving Memory
Over the past few years, we have lost a few animals. I want this page to honor them.
Kinser and Tilly
Kinser and Tilly were our first animals..they were kitties! We got them I believe in 2006. Kinser was orange, and a he. Tilly was calico, and a she. Tilly was MY baby. She would jump on my bed and wake me up every morning. Kinser was just fat and lazy, but he was fun! We found out that my dad was allergic to cats a few years later, so we would keep them in the garage for the night, and in the house in the morning, until we could find a home for them. We were unable to find them a home, so we took them to a "no-kill" animal shelter. We went to visit them a couple weeks later, and they said "Oh. We killed them because they were timid". They said it so plainly. We all miss them, and love them! (When we first got them, I was about 4, and I made up the name Kinser Rose, but we soon found out it should be Kinser Cactus)
Flopsy
Flopsy was my first animal. She was a beautiful black flop eared rabbit. She was so sweet, and would let me hold her while doing school. My siblings had rabbits, too. My brother had one named Benjamin, my little sister had one named Peter, and my older sister had one named Lemon. Sometimes we would let them run around the kitchen. We would usually keep Benjamin and Flopsy together, and Peter and Lemon together. One morning, I was just about to eat breakfast, and I thought I'd go check on Flopsy. When I got close, I saw a bunch of black stuff near her, and as I got closer, I noticed that they were little rabbits! Flopsy and Benjamin had 7 little babies (6 black, and one brown). The day before, Flopsy had been pulling out hair (we did not know then that she was making a nest), and we threw it away. The little bunnies died. A couple months later, when we found out my mom had cancer, we put the rabbits outside, because my Grandma was going to come. It was the middle of August. A few weeks later, my dad had just come home from work, and I looked outside, and Flopsy was dying. We quickly brought her in the house, and tried to cool her off. Benjamin looked very sad. I still miss her very much. (Peter had died a few days before from the heat outside) About a week or two later, we had made especially sure to protect the Benjamin and Lemon, and the next morning, the cages were all broken. A coyote had gotten them. We later found Lemon, but never found Benjamin.
Toby
After the cats and rabbits, we got dogs, then a frog! His name was Toby. We go him in 2010 or 2011. We would watch him swimming around his aquarium all day. It was fun. We would play tag with him on the glass (we would touch the glass, and he would have to find our finger and tag it). He passed away in April 2012.
West
West was a hamster. I had wanted a hamster for a while. I got him in either around the time we got Toby. He was fun to play with, and he was very handsome. He was gray, with a white belly. I would make tunnels around his cage, and have fun watching him. When he was about 2 years old (or at least 2 years after I got him), we had just come home from church, and when I saw him he was very lethargic. I took him to a pet hospital...he died right when I got to the examination room. The vet said that she thoughts he had kidney cancer. I still miss him, as I do all the other animals.

Licorice was a cute little black doeling, born on Valentine's day. She was one of triplets, and she died when she was 5 days old. (I think the reason was that she was not getting enough milk) I love you little girl!

Valentino was one of Licorice Drop's brothers. He was born on Valentine's day. He was always sweet. After a rainstorm on ?/?/15 (he was a little over a month old), we brought him in the house. He was cold when i touched him. We tried the best we could to get him warm. We all miss little Tino. Love you little guy!

Eddie was one of Snow White's brothers. He was always quiet and calm. He didn't seem to be growing a whole lot. Eddie passed away on April 18th, 2015. He had just been weaned the week before. We think it might have been Cocci. I miss that little guy.

Pat was a fun little buck to be around! He was quite, but always sweet. Pat passed away on September 9th, 2015. He had somehow wandered into Bree's pen, and we found him all floppy. He had a couple broken ribs, and his mouth was clogged up. I think he was butt hard into the fence. Pat we will never forget you! Love you!
